    Default Kentucky Lake 10/24/14

First day on the water this fall, really nice day to be on the water. Fish were a little finicky but put number 20 in the cooler at 12:30. Waded thru a bunch of dinks at times to get them. Looked like the drifters and pullers were struggling a bit. Talked a second to a nice guy in a purple procraft, why do y'all give him such a hard time, Lol.

Nice Austin. I am fishing for a week starting Sat. and that gives me hope. Those fish look like candy to a little boy!! Any favorite colors and depths?

Buddy I was on the west side of lake, caught them close to or right on bottom in 10-13fow. White/chart and pink/white tubes on your 3\32 chart glow jigheads.

You were correct on the drifters. I fished yesterday for six hours and ended up with four keepers and too many smalls to count. I did use an entire small jar of nibbles catching them.

Pab were you in Jonathan creek yesterday in a v bottom tracker with a dog? If so that was me and wiskers in the purple and white procraft. we were spider rigging then after talking to you we went to 2 poling jigs and started catching some. Thanks for the advice the fish had me and Terry both scratching our heads.

Yep the fish I caught were burrowed up in it. Marked a lot of bait everywhere and good numbers of fish away from wood but didn't look like those fish were cooperating with the guys fishing in open water.
