Good day fishing Russ, I'm jealous!
Was able to go fishing this morning and even had my wife's approval. Turned out to be one of those magical days that we tend to dream about. It started about 5:30 am with me buying 4 dozen minnows, an egg sandwich, and a cup of coffee at Landing at Port Oliver. Put the boat in at Port Oliver boat ramp and took a short run across the lake to a brush pile at the far corner of the dam. The water around the brush pile is about 17' and the fish at about 14', so I adjusted my spider riggin rods accordingly and got down to business. It didn't take me long to see that if i'd go very far I wasn't getting bit so I circled that ole brush pile till around 9:00 am when they'd scattered out pretty thin and I pulled up an ran around the back side of peninsula and found a tree that held another school of fish. I wrapped up the day and looked at my watch and it was 12:00 noon, the boat was on the trailer and I had caught and released 4 bass, 1 3lb channel cat, 1 8lb blue cat, and around 50 crappie of which I kept 10. If that don't make ya smile, you just ain't right.
Everything is possible. The impossible just takes longer!

Brad that brush pile would be perfect for your "two pole jiggin" that you like so well.
