Default Herrington, Taylorsville, or Cedar Creek

Planning on going again Saturday afternoon. Never fished Cedar Creek, but it always looks clear no matter the recent rain. Figure it will be crowded though if it is the only clear water around. Anyone know if Herrington or Taylorsville is clearing up any on the upper end of either? I still got a few days but was wondering what it was starting to look like if anyone has been around. Thanks!

Went to Cedar Creek today the water was stained to clear the bite was not very good for me, but the worst problem of all was the boat traffic people were rude to each other a lot of people were just running up and down the lake like it was Lake Cumberland on Memorial Day. Just letting you know you might want to rethink Cedar Creek.

Thanks for the info CrappiePappy. I knew there was a link like that for Cedar Creek somewhere but could not find it. Cedar Creek always seems to stay clear like that compared to other places. I drove by/over the river and Herrington yesterday and they both look like chocolate milk with chunks in it. Still a few days, maybe the upper end of Herrington will clear some.

Gabb166 - that is just what I was afraid of about Cedar if it is the only place around with clear water I can imagine no bigger then it is it being really crowded. Sounds like that was the case today.

Get to Taylorsville. I went today and it was pretty darn good for Taylorsville. Got my limit in no time and water was as clear as it ever gets. Temps were 72 degrees.
