We are heading to Eddie creek, we have never been there before so not sure what to expect. The weather does look good, chance of rain tomorrow, and then 70's the rest of the weekend.

Good luck with your trip. Looks like the weather is going to be better than we had. The fishing should be better too. Hope you boat a limit each day.

Day one complete, and zero crappie in the boat. Rained pretty hard and I hope that's the reason they were not biting. The weather is supposed to be better tomorrow, so let's hope they are hungry tomorrow.

I'm coming down tomorrow morning. Debating on Eddie creek or big bear. What's the water looking like in Eddie creek.

Water is not too bad, highest temp I found was 48, didn't go to far after passing under 93. I saw quite a bit of driftwood.

Here's a tip to any newcomer to the west KY lakes looking for crappie...

Best plan is look for the biggest wad of boats...

Then get out a contour map of where those boats are sitting and get idea of what type of bottom or creek channels or banks those boats are targeting...

Then find similar contours or bottom features anywhere on the map and ....go get em..

A contour map is worth it's weight in gold for structure oriented crappie...
