Default Advice on Places to stay

I've got a big birthday coming up (60) and the family wants to celebrate by renting a cabin for the weekend. Do you guys have any suggestions on where to go? Not too particular about where in the state. If we can fish that would be great, but just wanting a place where we can all be together and have a relaxing time. Any suggestions?

Green River Lake, the cabins at Holmes Bend are nice and if you want to catch alot of little crappie the lake is great.

If you are talking about this weekend check the weather first. Possible 100 degrees and storms. Make sure anyplace you choose has shaded areas and good air conditioners.

I'd shoot down to Reelfoot Lake right across the TN border and rent a waterfront cabin at one of the more popular resorts that includes a boat, fuel, ice and bait with the room.

Holmes Bend on Green River Lake has 2/3 bedroom cabins. They may have bigger ones.
Don't know what they charge. You can see the lake and it is beautiful. The have a beach
for swimming if you have any youngsters going

I'm in Western Ky & it's been over 100 degrees for go'n on 2 weeks. If it were me, I would opt for some place cooler, like the Australian Outback. Rofl

If it were me, i would go to the mooe's on ky. Lake. They have cabins of all different sizes. Oop's that is the moor's. Really nice place with resturant along with marinia beach and putt-put golf.
