Ask me tomorrow. Wiskers wussed out and said it was too hot (who gives up a chance to catch some crappie to mow his yard?) so I'm taking a buddy in the AM.

Yes it is. I'm spending my time enjoying Willis Carrier's claim to fame as much as possible.

How does one manage to get around an 8 foot umbrella with a 16 foot Capps and Coleman trolling rod with a 10 pound drum on a Bandit?

Ended up with 2 big crappie, 3 keeper LMBs, a bunch of short bass, a decent white catfish, a pile of yellows and another 8-10 pound drum. The lake was actually a little rough to troll headed south early but slicked off later.

You'll learn to not do backflips like Carl Edwards off your trailer! LOL!!

We saw a couple of unidentified jumps and trolled right thru a LMB jump that produced the biggest LMB of the day (3 pounder). The water was choppy so they had to come up close or we couldn't see them. The biggest crappie (1 1/2 pounder) came off one of the drop rods with a 100 series set at about 6 feet in 28 feet of water. Lots of short hits and fish that were hooked for just an instant then gone.

I can't believe the lawn mower king hasn't challenged me yet. Guess he's sitting under the A/C with a barley pop in his hand.
