Default Kentucky Lake Crappie, where are they?

Anyone having any luck crappie fishing on Kentucky Lake. Went to Blood River Wednesday and it looked very murky to me , where is a good spot on the lake were the water clarity is better after hard rains like we have been getting?

The bays on the LBL side don't get anywhere near as muddy as the drainages on the west side.

Can you give some examples as I'm not familiar with that area?

I haven't crappie fished on that side a lot but any of the bigger bays can produce fish and I have caught fish every time that I have tried. Sugar, Smith, Vickers to name a few.

Watch out if you try to run over there from Blood River. You have to run the buoys up or down the lake from Blood to get over there below summer pool or risk ripping off your lower unit.

Where would you suggest putting in at over there?

Smith and Sugar both have ramps or you could launch at Kenlake or Fenton and be at Vickers or Sugar pretty quickly.
