Just Returned From KY Lake...

And boy it was some tough fishing. Fished Thurs, Fri and Sat. The water was in the mid 60's, Blood River was very muddy the first day. Never found fish in shallow water, it was tough to understand with the water so warm. Found most of our fish in about 15 ft of water and they were tight to the cover. Could only catch'em if you were right down on them. Never caught one crappie on one of the upper hooks, always the bottom. Weather turned rough fri night and the wind was tough. I would have to say just what many others are saying around here, "times are tough at KY Lake". Wish I knew what's making it so tough to get on the fish in Blood River.
