Now that's what we like to hear! Congrats!
Caught a nice limit of 12 to 14 in fish with 2 kicker fish just over 2 pounds. 4 foot of water and it seemed like they wanted it right on the bottom. Move it up a foot and wouldn't get bit. When the water temp hit 70 at the trolling motor I caught good fish one after another. Mostly females with bloody eggs. Really good day.
Now that's what we like to hear! Congrats!
What part of Ky Lake were you fishing? how was the water clarity, using minnows uner a float. We are heading down Saturday for 6 days, hope we do as good as you! Nice job!!!
Water stained minners and a couple bays down from Jonathan Creek. Got another limit today but it was tougher and the fish were a little smaller. More throwbacks today.
is the water clearer in Johnathan Creek than Blood River after a rain?
Depends on what area you are talking about. Good to see you on here, GlobalTrucker. You live within eyesight of me.
I noticed you've had the boat sitting on go for the last week or so. :D
I tried several spots on Blood River and varying depths without any luck. Went out with my cousin who knows Blood River rather well and still only caught one small fish. Just wondering if there are better parts of the lake to fish after heavy rains like we have been getting. So do you live in Gates Borough ?
I live straight down the street in front of your house. Camo boat sitting in the driveway 99% of the time.
I know where your talking about on Nancy right? If you ever need some company on the boat I'll be glad to join you, I wouldnt mind learning a thing or two along the way either.
