Thread: Help

We will be at johnathan creek area around Oct 17th for the week. Not sure what to tell you about where to fish with this crazy weather we are having, but in past years we have done well for crappie on boat docks and brush piles in the deeper drop offs. Also may try the mouth of the creek. No info on stripes.

Dave, you & your son are welcome to join us at our North End Ky. Lake Crappie Camp. It will be at Big Bear Resort on Oct. 8, 9, & 10. Surely with all of us there we can get yall on some fish.

My son has been in the Army for 19 years. Bring that young man down & join in the fun.

The fish will be there someplace, but I'm not sure what season it will be. Summer is wanting to hang on late this year, so we'll have fall water levels and summer water temps up to the beginning of October anyway.

I'd take Wiskers up on his offer. He knows the lake and the fish, and I think he's just plain more stubborn than the fish and won't give up until they bite. They finally say "The hell with it, this guy's going to keep fishing until we bite." and bite his jig.:p
