Thread: North End Crappie Camp Roll Call

My Cousin and I were planning on coming back out to KY Lake this fall to do some fishing with Wiskers.

So, what better time to come, (even though we haven't attended the one closest to us at Green River).

So, put 2 down on your list.

We'll try to help out with some supplies even though we are traveling about 5 hours just to get there.

We'd get the camping lot next to you, but don't know about bringing a camper and boat, so we'll probably just have to bring the boat. Bank fishing would suck! :D

Terry, good talking with you today appreciated the call. I spoke with Roxie this afternoon, went ahead and reserved site #72. Still not sure if my knucklehead will be making the trip with me or not. I know if he is able, he'll want to. Just gotta see if his mother made fall break plans or not.

We (myself and two/three other buddies) will be down early Saturday morning. Check in at Shawnee Bay and will be on the water early. At least that's the plan right now. We would also like to attend, and want to contribute. Since we are new to all of this and out of staters we are real sure where Big Bear is located. I think it's close to Shawnee Bay if I'm not mistaken. We are willing to supply whatever is needed, we do cook a mean marinated pork loin. We could bring a few of those once we get some numbers of people finailzed. Anyway, any details would be great. Thanks for your generosity.

We all have a common bond... We love to crappie fish. You come on. I think as far as the food goes, with the exception of the fish fry, we can kinda "pot luck" it. It works at my family reunions and we feed about 100. With a little help I think I can handle the fish fry'n. My new fish cooker should be here Sat. and I can do fish and hushpuppys at the same time. Got another big cooker for frys. throw in a couple of big pots of white beans an some slaw & we got it.

Yall will be right down the road, if you're at Shawnee. If you're not staying at Big Bear there is a $5 per person visitor fee.

Sounds good Wiskers. We will bring our share of food/drink to share. Looking forward to it. We are also willing to help with the cookin if needed. Just let us know. Can't wait.

Sign me up!!!! I can throw in some crappie and bluegill fillets also. The bluegill is good if you put them in a crab boil and eat'em just like shrimp.

Great, I got a great big shrimp pot! Poor amn's shrimp.
