Thread: Possible new world record Crappie

That's a fake picture. We had a company rep come into work last year showing the same photo telling us it was the new tenn. state record.

When I received the picture in the E-mail my friend told me the same story that is told at the start of this thread. His Grandson who lives in Ballard County sent it to him. When I first saw it I thought Holy S**t, that is one small guy or one big fish. I spoke to him yesterday and he told me that his Grandson told him,that it was a hoax, and that someone in Ballard County was sending it to lots of people. This was the first time I saw it, and after looking it obviously is a fake. I am going back to Kentucky Lake Mid-Week and I hope to catch this fishes Daddy.
