Definitely windy here and I haven't had any recent reports of big catches.

Matter of fact, a guy that I talked to two days ago was finding his most active fish in 30' of water.

I took my Dad out on KY for a few hours this AM. We kept 6 decent blacks and about a dozen yellows. We were casting roadrunners and minnows under floats. The wind kept us off some of the spots we wanted to try. The weekend/holiday warrior morons finally got me so pizzed that I had to leave before I got in the boat with one guy and did my best to kick his fat KY azz! He ran right thru our bobbers on a point and then had the nads to ask me if we were doing any good and what we were using. He had just seen me reel in a keeper not 1 minute before here he comes. Did I say how bad I hate KY Lake on holiday weeks and weekends? I guess I'm lucky that I get to do the bulk of my fishing during the week.

I understand how somebody who only has a limited amount of time and is spending a considerable chunk of $$ to catch some fish would want to get close to the action to see how it is being done. This would apply to vacationers and those who only fish a few days per year but NOBODY has to be rude to the point of doing what his guy did. Getting close or asking for info is one thing, this guy IMO PURPOSELY ran thru our set-up to mess us up.

My Dad is getting up in years and we still have a good time on the lake when he feels up to being out there. The day will come when he either won't be able to go or won't be here anymore. I do get aggravated at times when he can't see to tie on a new jig or when one of my seat pedestal poles ends up on the bottom (like this AM) of the lake because it wasn't stored properly. I can over look those kinds of aggravations but not ruining my day fishing just because we were catching fish and this moron wasn't.

I figure the guy just laughed off the words I used to describe him, his family heritage, and what I thought of his tactics. I can't blame this on an OSSer because according to the marina owner, the guy is local. Another incident like today with him and I may see if the point on my aluminum boat will make a good dent in the side of his glitter boat. You know accidents happen!

I know how you feel, it's been many years ago, but I was fishing on a spot I found w/my eletronics, and was catching several good fish, and a couple of guys see me and here they come, fished a circle all around me within 12 feet and then came within 4 feet w/o ever saying a word, I was so mad by then I told him, "you know I've spent yhousands of hard earned dollars on my fishing equipment, but I'm about to take my $10.00 filet knife and step into your boat and start cutting h*** outta you all if you dont get your boat out of my casting distance!" Well they never said a word, but most certainly did get outta my sight quickly.

It's hard not to let there morons ruin you day but it happens everywhere. What is sad is I had an incident just like this happen to me last year in Ohio. The sad part was this guy had 2 small kids in his boat. Everytime I moved, he moved and circled my boat. Same thing he kept his back to me. I'm sure he was marking my spots with GPS. The saddest part was I sure he was teaching these 2 little guys "how to find new fishing spots". You know, if he would have just stopped and asked, I would have probably told him what I was doing and would have invited him and the kids to fish my spot. The last time he came by me, I picked up my anchor and bounced it up and down in the brush pile I was fishing. I called to the guy (who still wouldn't look up) and told him he could have the spot. I guess he got the point he didn't follow me any more.
