Tater day is a 5 day flea market and red-neck love-fest. That time frame is best spent on the lake and nowhere near Benton! You'll learn the hard way!!LOL

The accent is always the hardest and last thing to go! Normally, once you rid a yankee of any northern supplies like Duncan Donuts coffee, Yuengling Beer and the "U's and come with", they are on the right track!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:D:D

Gone fishin! Checked out with fish scales on the brain!

I agree with the accent as being the hardest to go as all of my family including me are from Pennsylvania, but i didn't live there long enough to develop a northern accent. It's funny, you are right on track except what has Yuengling beer done to anyone except taste delicious. Wish they sold it down here.

Tennessee is eat up with that delicious Yuengling Lager. I quite often pick up a sixer on the way home from work. Most all the bars down here have it too.

Nothing is wrong with the beer! I lived in Eastern PA for 2 years, and everybody raved over Yuengling beer and their root beer. Just did not know they existed until then. I was referencing it as a northern staple........

All the guys hung out at the "hosie's"!!!!!!!!

Definition: every fire dept. had a bar in it somewhere. They called the dept. a "hosie".

As is WV. Before they sold it in WV when I was in Morgantown we'd go over the border to get it. In fact I believe I'll have a cold lager with the fried crappie we're having for dinner.

    I probably don't drink 10 beers a year but when I do, it's PA's finest.

bandchaser, did you develop a taste for scrapple? My buddies from PA brought me a batch when they came down to snow goose hunt in Feb. (along with a case of Yuenglings lager which I ended up sharing with friends). That and 2 cases of Dieffenbach's potato chips (cooked in LARD!!! doesn't get any better).
