Thread: Heading back to Blood River

Heading back to blood to fish Mon -Wed. I would rather wait till the end of the week or first of next week but work won't allow me. Will post report and hopefully some pictures later in the week.

Fished Blood River Mon, Tues and about 4 hrs this morning before the wind ran us back home. Would loved to have stayed longer with the temp going up but work calls. Had 21 Monday with cool temps and pretty stout wind out of North, 34 Tuesday on a beautiful day and 19 this morning before the wind sent us packing. When we left today the water temp was 57.5 and some of the males were turning colors. Most of our fish came from 9 to 15 fow on minnows. I think its getting ready to get right if the weather stays stable for a few days. Our fish came from Irvin Cobb back past Wildcat, couldn'd buy a bite out toward the mouth.
