    Default A Wiskers Sighting....

I have never seen Wiskers in person, and have never seen his boat.

But I believe from the many photo's of him holding crappie that we have all seen, I think I saw a puddy kat!

    Description:

White Lowe, white johnson outboard, and a butt load of poles hanging out the front. And a big barrel on the rear with a commercial net hanging out of it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LMAO! Just had to throw that in there Wiskers! I believe you had someone with you or I would have swung by. I was in a 16' Tracker, tiller motor, by myself. Anchored off in the middle of the dead sea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    How did you do??

I threw my hat up at the David Wilson back in January on Old Hickory Lake. I don't know if you were on that boat or if you even saw me, but I remember you saying you run that one sometimes.

    Today was a bad day!
Put in on Barkley side at 8am. Tried starting motor for over 30 minutes, ran like a top the day before.
Decided to at least troll up a few hundred yards and cast jigs on my back to the ramp. Got to fiddlin with the motor and took the crowl off, and low and behold, my air idler screw vibrated out or something and went MIA!!!!!!!!!

So, I loaded up and headed to Jetta Marina, and we looked at some micro fish, and they went to looking for the part. After $5.93 for a brass screw that is maybe 1/8" long, I headed back the parking lot, installed and she fired right up.

So, then I headed to the dead sea. Launched and went straight up front. Got my first hit on a road runner over brush. Fished that bay to no avail. Then I decided if I can't beatem, join em'!!!!! Got the map out, eye balled a creek channel, and went brush hunting!

Did happen to find some brush, anchored off, and got my second bite a few minutes later. That was the last feeling I had besides feeling like a idiot!
3 fish in 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You gotta love this to do it!

Be back at it tomorrow. Don't know where I am headed, but there will be water involved!
