    Default Kyak trailer build

Buddy of mine has an Ascend 133 Kayak;it is larger and heavier than my little Jon boat setup. So, he needed a trailer, in exchange I get a 17ft.fiberglass on a trailer with a 90hp Yamaha 2 Stroke and trolling motor for my next project.I plan to scrap fiberglass. I had a spare trailer and parts laying around for another 1236 Jon build; 3 weeks later here it is.

looks good for carrying 2 or 3 kayaks.
Did you use the setscrews that came with the ladder rack or bolts?

I started searching for 10mm eyebolts when I ordered my rack. Stores and online didn't have them. Found them at Fastenal, they had 2 3/4" bolts, way to long. Had to buy a box of 50 @ $3.29.
I got 10 mm 3/4" bolts and welded chain links to the heads. These links are 1/4" diameter, 1"X2", made to go over eyebolts.
