    Question Storing kayak


    Got a native ultimate fx 12, can it be stored upright on flat floor for a period of time

    Best way to store a kayak is on a rack or suspended. Storing on the ground or floor can cause deformation of the hull.

    Mine storage rack is made of scrap material. I copied this one.
    2X4's and a steel frame with casters.

    I like that PVC one and need that now. Wonder how he attached the casters to the PVC?

    I blew the photo up.
    Looks like a steel pipe has a sheet of metal welded to it's bottom for the caster to be bolted too. Above the Y connector I can see something metal, I think it's a stove bolt thru the steel and PVC pipes.
