    Default New trailer build

I saw a single kayak trailer on facebook I'm going to build, but it will be a double.
I found an old boat trailer for free. Tongue can be removed so it will be easy to load in truck to haul home. Inspect spindles, new bearings and seals, maybe hubs, new wheels. Get it home and measure for a metal order.
Since it's on facebook you'll need to send me a PM to see it.

I'm curious but don't use Facebook. Been thinking about a kayak trailer for awhile now. Good luck with your build.

Got the trailer home and unloaded. Looked at marketplace while cooling off. Free ladder rack and wood bed cover 50 miles away. Back in the road again.

Jack, there's a teardrop camper on marketplace for $500.
Built on a Harbor Freight trailer kit.
Plywood on outside is falling apart.
Says inside looks great and hardwood floor.
After looking at the photos I'd say it will be dropping fast.

At a campground a couple arrived with a teardrop camper. Set up a portable carport on their site and backed the camper under it. Laid a camping rug under it from the wheels forward. Set up 2 large shower huts at the front (changing rooms). Sat a smaller rug, folding table and 2 chairs at the rear by the kitchen. When we returned from fishing they had added screen walls to the carport and a screened canopy to the picnic table.
