Do you use it a lot? Is that a good gas motor? I would think it would make that light little boat move pretty good.
    It’s rated for a 5hp , wish I had a 4hp 4stroke.

Use it as much as I can. I’d rather fish out of it than my big boat.

I have a small Sun Dolphin 2 man boat, just got it this year. Have taken it out twice and it works great for smaller lakes. We have a few close by ( Kentucky) that do not allow a gas motor on the boat, not use but not even on the boat! So this works great for that. I thought I could carry it the back of my PU truck, and it fits...unloading wasn’t an issue but getting it back into the bed was almost impossible by my self, ( I’m old fart, 69 and a bad back). So I used my aluminum motorcycle trailer. That worked ok but most motorcycle and utility trailers have a short tongue and And I would get wet...just bought a used boat trailer yesterday, will modify it to work with my little boat...
when out on the water it worked great, howeve I would suggest an anchor, they move a lot with the wind, maybe some type of rear stabilizer rudder would work too...lots of UTube videos on these little, fun boats

I've seen one by Freedom Electric called a Twin Troller. That's what I would love to get...but it's pricey! Kind of like the price of a Ranger or Phoenix vs a Tracker...lol.

Does anyone have one of these? If so how do you like it? Tell us about it!

Yea the twin troller's are pricey, at $5,600.00 new. But then again, they have two electric motors in the center sides, and foot control pedals, so hands free. If you do a search, there are some used ones for $2500, one is near Nashville.

My dad bought a new 2 man boat from Johnny Morris. Missouri requires it to be licensed if you put any motor on it, so he did. Next year he got his property tax bill. They registered it as a brand new "bass boat", taxes were higher on it that all his other vehicles. Had to battle with them to fix it. So pay attention if/when you register one.

I like the Pelican 10E and the Bass Hunter 120 . Both are very popular. Lots of videos on modifications and trailer types. If I find a cheep used one I can try it, do some mods, and see if I want to upgrade...or sell it.

Don't care for the Jon boat lookin one...but the Bass Raider 10E is a real possibility. Amazon wants way too much though, I found it at Academy for $640 and Bass Pro $650, both on line. Lots of those out there, I think, can probably find a good used one less than that.
