    Default Camping and kayaking

Weekend family rv trip to Branson MO. Da wife and da daughter like to do the shop and shows. I on the other hand prefer to stay on da water and away from all the aforementioned. Took the yak to fish for the trout right in front of the campground. Those trouts sure do fight on an ultralight, thump is somewhat lighter than crappie and they some energetic boogers to hold onto.
Very fun trip with lotsa action.

Thought I’d share so sorry for all the pictures but that dang GoPro don’t miss much and can humble you after you see some of the antics.

I first saw the title and thought it was going to be about loading up the kayak and camping on the sandbars along the river.
Our last time to Branson we camped on the lake. A half way level gravel pad on the side of a hill. A cousin moved there since their daughter is a nurse somewhere in the area. We met up and fished around that bridge.

Nice. We stayed in the campground right at that bridge. Made easy work to get the yak on the water. Had a really good trip. I could’ve stayed another day or 2. I just got them figured out when it was time to leave.
