Nice !
Very versatile craft. A friend of mine had a similar make with 9.8 Merc on it and we fished many different lakes with it. We purposely navigated closer to shorelines for the calmer water and only the deeper open waters, when necessary, at strategic, shorter points. We caught many, many fish out of his. Congratulations, safe boating, wear your PFD, and good luck with every cast.

That is a nice setup. Congrats!

Thanks guys. I am a bit worried as for the water coming into the boat though. Then I read Coleman's aren't good motors. Kinda bummin me out. I do fish Guntersville at times, but mostly just under the bridges. Another guy I know has the Pelican Predator for sale for the same price. I thought about getting that one. The Predator has a 2.5 four stroke Mercury and 30 lb trust TM and a cover/trailer. On YouTube, there's not many reviews or modifications on the Predator, but tons on the Raider.
I'm hoping to be on the water Sprnig fishing!
Have a great day!
If it was your choice, you think Bass Raider or Predator?

My father in law had one years ago like the one you got (not sure of brand). We got caught in a down pour and before we could get back to the landing the boat was filled to the brim... still just as stable and floating high . I was surprised at how stable it was full of water.

Carry a container with you, in case you need it.
I have a couple of the smaller little boats. I use the on my smaller lakes and ponds. I love them. Easy to maneuver in. you will not have any problems unless you get in rough water. The small Coleman motor should work just fine for you. You could always mount a small portable bilge pump in the back of it and run a water tube up and over the back if worried about heavy rain water. Have fun and enjoy it. I have caught hundreds of fish out of mine. I have a Bass tender and a Pelican . They are both very stable little boats
Congrats on the Boat! me and my dad have been looking for one and we saw that ad on craigslist but didnt want to spend that much, we are wanting one for lake guntersville also and a couple of ponds we frequently go to.
if your concerned about it not having a drain hole, you can put one on it like zoffinger done. he also has the coleman motor and seems to use the hell out of it and doesnt have any problems.
the video of zoffinger adding a drain/scupper hole to his raider:
worst comes to worst and you dont want to drill any, use a small 12v bilge pump
I have a 10 ft pelican for sale. With or without trailer.
