That'll be a nice boat with a new motor at that price. Flat bottom boats have very high initial stability, but low secondary stability. Take some time walking around in it in shallow safe water to sort to see what it can take, before dipping a gunnel on accident later. Just take it easy at first, until you know what kind of water the boat can handle. I say this, because in my invincible youth, I capsized a couple small skiffs.
