    I've got my jugs set with an adjustable spools, bottom hook is 18" from a 3/4 oz sinker. Next hook can travel 24" above sinker. A third hook if needed travels to the jug. I bait with minnows or shad and target crappie. Catfish are released for someone else.

    You can only have 1 hook per jug in my neck of the woods. As far as targeting gamefish I do not know if thats legal here or not

    Each of my 3 settings has a snap. I add a leader with the hook where I wish depending on what state"s regs I'm fishing.
    I come up short with the states that allow 100/500 hooks per person or boat.
