Taking my red heeler pup Dingus for his first kayak ride tomorrow. This will be a training trip, no fishing.
THAT is one cool pup. I lost my little girl about a year ago and miss her every day. Enjoy the time with him, I'm sure he's as smart as he looks.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Gotta see a pic of that ride. Good luck.

Had a neighbor with a blue healer that hated me. He would bark at me if he saw me in the window....or just a picture of me lol. Good looking dog, I'm sure yours would recognize my good looks and gentle nature immediately
Should make a good paddling companion
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Great post. Awesome looking fishing buddy. I've been considering taking mine. Think I'll train her first by sitting in my yak in my garage and see how that works out.

Here is Dingus on his maiden voyage, I am really pleased with how he handled himself. We were out about 3 hrs, I decided to take my panfish rod hoping to catch some to see how Dingus reacted.
I caught a dozen gills, kept 7, Dingus never tried to attack any when I pulled them into the kayak, he just sniffed and licked them a little.Me and Dingus are going cat fishing tomorrow afternoon( from shore) I'm thinking he's a keeper😊
