great looking dog. that's gotta be fun to have a buddy with ya like that. I have 4 dogs myself - but not one is a good boater... - The yellow lab would love it - but he's about 14 and can barely get around. In his younger days - yeah, maybe...

    have fun

One more pic of Dingus at the end of the ride, poor fellow just plumb tuckered out. Our cat fishing trip never happened, too much yard work, not enough stamina.

That's awesome! Great looking dog! I had a lab for 13 years that was my fishing buddy. We had to put him to sleep recently. My wife and kids surprised me with a new bloodhound puppy. I took him, Jasper, this past Sunday. He ended up falling in the livewell.

He won't fit in a kayak much longer.

Here's my "fish taster" Chester. He seems to find his way in the water too often so I put his life jacket with a grab handle on him and its easy to grab him and go back to fishing.

Maybe you need a weenie stick to pull Chester back in?( sorry,I couldn't help it ).We have a rescue weenie, his name is Dash The Incredible, I haven't tried him in the kayak.Dingus has a half brother,Tater,he's my daughters heeler, originally he was to go with me in the kayak, but his mentality and overabundent energy would have no doubt put me and the kayak into Davey Jones Locker.
