Question about wiring for fish finder and lights
Okay now that I got my anchor trolley and some other basic Mods done on my Kayak I want to add my fish finder and some nav lights and deck lights , what type of wire should I get and size I am thinking 10 gauge wire, but will THHN work or do I need a special wire and fuses ? I see on you tube guys building battery boxes and wiring stuff up but they never tell you sizes and stuff

The wire size is dependent on how much current you plan to draw through it. I would choose a wire for automotive or marine environments. It will better suited your needs in my humble opinion.

Id be running the fish finder line separately right to the power source, with its own in line fuse.
