I hear those are great, but I just bought a Vibe Ghost 110 and really like all of its features.

Looking at getting a kayak and was wondering about the Ascend FS12T from bass pro , Will be fishing mostly lake and small reservoirs, they seem stble and with a few mods can get a nice rig , trying to get the most out of my budget of $1,500 .

I seen them reminds me of the Old Town predator the only problem nearest dealer to me is 3 hrs away
mrstangblb thanked you for this post
Check out the Nucanoe Frontier 12 or Pursuit. I've got a Frontier 12, very stable, came from WS Ride 115. The Frontier 12 is easier on back backs and such due to the seating position vs Ride 115 which is the only reason I switched.
GO BIG ORANGE !
I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
I have a Perception 120 Pro I like a lot so far.
The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
I have an Ascend 10T and love it. A friend has the 12T and he has no complaints. He is a pretty big guy and gets around great in his. Sure there are better yaks out there but for the money, Ascend makes a very well built, durable boat with lots of features found on more expensive brands. Good luck on your quest and remember, part of the fun of kayak fishing is the rigging and making it the best boat for YOUR needs.
Ascend also has one of the best tube seats in the business. After a few hours of sitting on your posterior, it will be appreciated.

Wear that PFD, the life you save might be your own!!
I have enjoyed mine thus far after 2 years. Never been in any other yak so I can't compare it with the other top shelf models. I can say it tracks ok, is stable to fish from seated, standing is sketchy but doable, and the seat is nice. I did mod up an aluminum frame riser that the seat sits on top of which has proven to be a nice addition for bass fishing.
It has loads of storage and the yak gear over sized milk crate fits nicely behind the seat. I removed the cheap rod holder added t-tracks to both sides and installed two stealth rod holders. I also installed a yak attack anchor trolley that works like a dream.
Overall a budget friendly fishing machine. If you go with this model the first thing I would do is silicone the rivet heads where the seat is and the d loops behind the seat because they do leak some.
Have a fs10 and like it very much but if I were getting another it would b the h series of ascends "hybrid". Kinda best of both worlds of a sit in and on top versions. Much easier to cast out of the t series but I like the idea of dropping stuff into boat and not in water, I'm clumsy.
Keep on keepin on!!!
