Sounds like a good deal and a good way to get started kayak fishing.
I picked up this one for $116, $129.45 with auction fee and tax.

Stay near the shore for the first couple of trips so you can acclimate to the characteristics of this kayak, then venture out (if your new to kayaking) as you feel
the confidence. Congrats.

Congratulations!! Seriously, one of the best decisions I've made was getting a kayak for fishing. It has added a whole new level of challenges to fishing. Not that I mastered any before, but preparation is the key now. I can't fire up the outboard and run to the next spot 10 miles away, or throw in some extra clothes and jump in the boat on a cold day. I look at maps now trying to decide how many spots I can cover in a day from where I launched. I also look at what tackle I'm taking because of limited space. I hope you enjoy it for many years!

This makes the 8th kayak for the family. Got to get online and look at rod holder options. It has a single Atwood holder hole in the center of the floor. I want 3 holders. One son has a Tee mount, but only 2 holders.
TN-Archer, I have a nephew that lives on Boone lake at Gray,TN, not far from you. I spent a week there and he got me started kayaking in '08. We caught a few stripes 16 to 24" and had fun trailing them. He hung one 37", I tied to the rear of his yak to slow him down. I back stroked while he battled that fish for over an hour. It's a wall hanger now.

Canebreaker, when I lived closer to Boone Lake, we would on a regular basis. I caught a hybrid once that pulled my aluminium boat around. Can't wait to get up there with the Yak. It's a great smallmouth fishery as well. East Tennessee is a great place to live if you love to fish!!
This yak comes with a base in the floor between the knees for one rod holder, included. I got online and found a 3 holder base, 3 rod holders and an 8 1/2" extension for $100. Should have it here on 12/01.
