I was looking at getting a Pelican Predator off the Pelican site. Do you guys think this boat would hold up well in big lakes or just small ponds? I need something that is going to be stable enough to handle the bass boat wakes that fly by.

It will be good for small water not big water. You will be able to fish the back water of big lakes but if you get out on the big water with a lot of boats or a windy day when the lake is rolling you would be in trouble of rolling over . You would be better out looking at a good fishing kayak.

I don't see how a Kayak would be safer?
I'll just try to look for a decent aluminum bass tracker I guess.
Kayaks will really surprise you, they just ride over wakes like a Bobber in the water.

Hmm, I guess they just make me nervous being so low to the water. LOL
I am seeing a ton of boats for sale online for under $3,000 - Bass Tracker Pros. I'll just go with that.
Mamba334 where are you seeing all those 3K rigs??
