Default Kayak recommendations..for daughter and wife

I am in the market for another kayak..picked up a Ride 135 based on recommendations here for myself and have been very happy. Now I am looking for something for the wife and daughter to share....until we figure out if they both enjoy kayaking. The daughter uses a Perception Swifty right now but wants a sit on top longer and more stable like my Ride 135. Let me know what you think? (Don't tell the wife or daughter but I might borrow it sometimes when I need something lighter than the Ride to take to a remote location if it will haul a big guy also) I would like to keep the weight 70 lbs or less.

Jackson Cruise (10 and 12) meet your requirements.

I have a WS Ride 115X and wanting something lighter to use in some situations and having been very happy with Wilderness Systems I got myself a Tarpon 100 which is only about 55 lbs as a second kayak. I am not a small guy but I still find it to be plenty stable to fish from and have been very happy with it. I have actually used it more than my Ride since buying it.

Thanks guys for the recommendations. I have found a used 12' Cruise and a used 10' Tarpon. Looked at the 10' Tarpon new today and really like it. I have a friend who is loaning me a 12' Perception Pescador which is supposed to be the same hull as the old 12' Tarpon from what I have been able to find out. Going to take the wife and daughter out and let them paddle it tomorrow and see how they like it.

Well my friend brought in the Pescador today to work and it was actually the 10" which is pretty close to the Tarpon 100...but has molded in foot rests and cheaper hatches. We went to the river carrying my Ride 135, the Pescador 10' and my sons Ocean Prowler 13'. Wife and Daughter got to paddle all 3 and their definite favorite was the 10' Pescador. This kayak really surprised me I am 6'4" and 270 and I actually enjoyed paddling it. We went to Gander Mountain thinking we would buy the Pescador 12' since they are out of the 10' but they thought it was too big and wanted to wait and get a 10'. So looks like at this time we are in the market for the 10' Pescador or Tarpon 100. Thanks for your recommendations...I will keep them all in mind while we continue our search. Wife enjoyed the time on the water so looks like I am in the market for 2 kayaks. I do see why everyone tells you to try before you buy.
