    Hey, everybody,

Glad to be a part here of the website! I hope to learn a whole lot, for sure. I've been fishing for years but just got back into it when I bought a Field and Stream Eagle Talon kayak about a month ago. I've been on Lake Cunningham, Lake Greenwood and Lake Robinson here in SC over the last few weeks with just a few fish pulled in, but I'm still having fun. It's great exercise, and it's just nice not being in the office and being on the lake!

What kayaks are you guys using? I've got it situated pretty well with rod holders and all, and I just bought a MadBite FX3000 fish finder that's worked well off the kayak. I have a Lowrance Elite-4X that I plan to mount eventually but just haven't put it on.

Look forward to hearing from some more kayakers!

    Barry

Welcome to the site - I know I've really enjoyed the info here these last few months since I got my first kayak. Definitely some other rigs I'm seriously interested in now that I'm getting familiar with them. It sure is different (and fun!) from buzzing around the lakes in my Bass Boat.... Plus I get a bit of exercise too...

That Old Town Vapor was the first kayak I sat in about a month ago. I thought that was nice!

Feel free lure 11.5. I haven't crappie fished in it yet but I've put around 100 bass in it in the 3 times I've used it and it's awesome.

I'm right 97 percent of the time, the other 4 percent doesn't matter.

Good gosh - you're killing it! I need to find the water you're fishing in.

I got lucky and gained access to a private lake and have never caught the quality or quantity that is available there.
