    Well I ain't gonna say the top.. Would to to sit for longer periods of time with discomfort also. Seems like the ride is a all around good one. Looked at the feel free lure also but they say there slow and I do alot of open calm water so want something to cut the water better

    I'm not knocking the Ride 115 in any form or fashion, had one and enjoyed it. Seat is very comfy which is the main reason I bought one, but the seat will pin you in in the cockpit so to speak. You can stand in the ride 115, just install a eye bolt near the front cup holder and attach a dog leash to it for a pull up/assist strap. I've done it a couple times but it's not something I did on a regular basis. It got to where I got uncomfortable in the Ride after a short time (< 1 hr) and my lower back would start to hurt and one or both legs would go to sleep, and I did not have the room to move around to relieve the pressure points. I now have a Nucanoe Frontier 12 with elevated seat, and they offer a stand up bar as well. Nucanoes is pricey but not much more than the WS yaks. Test paddle all the ones you are interested in before buying. GL

    Cant beat a Wilderness System Commander, lots of room & very stable.
