    Default Thinking About This Kayak

This has caught my eye. 11.5' 33" wide, $500 bucks.

Any opinions or reviews? How much $ am I looking at to rig it up for comfortable spring fishing assuming I have all of the tackle.

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.

    X2 on the Ride.
I would defiantly look for something with a raised seat, even if its just a coupe inches your backside will thank you.

Most of the Perception kayaks are retired Wilderness molds. The Pescador is the old Tarpon 120 mold and is a solid performer. 1 of the West Marine branded ones is the same Tarpon 120 mold as well. I would not worry buying the Perception if it suits your needs.

Same $$ I would look at this one as well. Heritage Redfish 12' Sit-On Fishing Kayak | Academy looks like another Tarpon 120 mold. Great kayaks.

That is a very good price on a stable kayak. Sits high in the back and I believe you could install a comfy chair easily and you'd have a very good fishing platform.
Not all are blessed with a great sense of balance but in the heat of the summer in shallow waters, I'd stand and test my ability to stand and fish.

There are a lot of great Yaks out there with a lot of details to consider, just don't forget to pay a lot of attention to the seat. Uncomfortable seats can really shorten your intended time out on the water. Good luck with your shopping!
