    Default Show your kayak and......

I'll start it. Although I've fished from numerous kayaks, my WS Ride 135 has become my all time favorite for all the reasons I didn't keep all the others. Stability
at my age has become the most important part of my fishing trips, namely "safety". Ease of modifications and the many different ways it can be tweaked is and
has always kept me thinking of better ways to make my fishing experience more rewarding. Comfort while fishing has always been upper most on my mind since
I too have a bad back. I believe my raised seats are just as comfortable as what is on the market today and that makes me smile. Adding my Lowrance depth
finder was icing on the cake for me. Tomorrow may present a new challenge and I'll keep my thinking cap on and stay ready. Thanks for posting and contributing.

I love my Ride 115 and will use it for rivers and for when the grand kids want to go with me. Very stable and it is a great fishing kayak

I also have a Hobie Adventure that I have rigged all the way for crappie fishing and I do have the Hobie outriggers for it. This boat is 16' long and not as wide as the other fishing Hobie's but I bought this kayak from a friend at a great price and it has been a great kayak for my style of fishing.

All of those look real nice. Stump Hunter I sure would like to see some more pics of how you have rigged out the yellow yak. If you don't mind.
Thanks for the poll RetiredRR can't wait to see the results change as more people vote.

I have an old OT Ambush. Stable enough to stand on the gunwale or walk around in. Capacity of 800lbs. Its not a quick moving yak/hybrid, but paddles easy and carries both fishing and camping gear with some room to spare. A fantastic low budget boat. I will get pics up sooner or later.

I have a Hobie Revolution 13, an older model. I absolutely love the mirage drive. It gets my to where I want to go in no time regardless of the wind. My rigging varies according to the fish Im after, as I also go for striped bass, bluefish, and fluke in the salt.

If vegetable oil is made from vegetables, what's baby oil made from?

Nice rig you have there kb2112. Nice catch also. I see two poles. Do you have a pole limit in NY?

Thank you. It has evolved over the years to suit the different types of fishing that I do.

As far as the pole limits, yes we do. Back when this picture was taken we could only use two poles. Now we are allowed to use three poles during the summer season.

I've been looking at a number of kayaks to purchase and find that that "safety" has risen to the top of my list too. I think I'd qualify as a "Geezer" too.

    Thanks for your comments.
