some seriously cool looking rigs - specially like that one Wilderness ATAK rig posted up by CacheRiver.. I haven't even fished out of mine yet and i'm already wondering how long it'll be before I'm ready to unload my Champion Bass Boat and get a couple really nice yaks. Looking at some of the high end SOTs. Especially the motorized ones.
Plus I've gotten hooked on that cable show called Pacific Warriors (out of Hawaii?) I could seriously get into Yak fishing. I dunno why it's got such an appeal to me but it sure does...

Am I crazy to take that leap of faith? haha

Thanks IlRiverRat, go for it you aint crazy i dont think but then again i always try to do the wild and different things. I have a 16 ft Fisher boat with a 60hp motor and i rarely use it because of all the trouble plus im limited from certain lakes. I also like to canoe/kayak some rivers where motors arent allowed so the kayak thing made sense to me. I can take the trolling motor off quickly if i want. Good luck and have fun

If it was not for the fact I like fishing summer nights with friends in comfort I would not even own my pontoon boat . Kayaks are fantastic fishing machines.

Y'all gonna fling a yak craving on me.

Been Craigslistin yaks for a while but I'm gonna have to get serious. I'm certain I need/want a sit-on and the seats on some of these look very comfortable which would be a requirement for my old butt. Stability was always a concern for me and is probably the reason I never really got serious looking for a kayak. Had no idea there were rigs like these available. I too have a pontoon rigged for mostly night fishing and a 10' Pelican Bass Raider (2 man) but looks like I might be opting for a kayak soon.
