First crappie fishing of the year video
So Sunday, after a long winter of no fishing, I finally managed to get the fishing gear out and go after some crappie. I was only on the water for 2 1/2 hours before it became to crowded with boats for my liking. But that was all the time I needed to land a whole bunch of decent specks. No monsters, but a lot of good eating size so I took home my limit for the first fish fry of the season. Not a bad start to what I hope will be another great kayak fishing season.
