Brush grabber for me. Don't tie up but rarely but don't leave home without it. Use some para cord and easy to store. It will hold your Yak with ease.

I've used everything from ice tongs and large magnets to C clamps and my fave Vice Grip locking C clamps.
I modified an old pair of jumper cables by splitting into two pieces, cutting the clamp off of one end & adding a carabeaner, and clamping the clamp onto any brush or small limb
