I have been wanting to get one of those Red Pirate Flags ( Skull and Bones ) from Ebay.

Right now I have a bright Lime Green Milk Crate that really catches the eye. But I do need to get a flag up in the air, for the days I fish big water.

Those pesky Jet Skiers like to get to close. Most of the time I think they just want to check out the kayak and ask if I'm catching anything.

Getting to close? I have a 12 foot catfish rod with a 24 oz sinker in my big boat for those. I've pulled it out a couple of times but never had to use it.

Yep cousin and myself use to wade fish on the gulf coast back in Tx. Always had a surf rod with a large weight and a treble hook to match. When the water fleas started crowding us we started casting their way. Didn't take them long to leave the area we were fishing.

Lime Green Milk Crate. What brand milk uses them? All I've seen behind stores are light blue, medium blue, black and red.

Upstate NY - A dairy called Garelick Farms. It's an old milk crate I have had for many years. (Maybe 12 years or so) When I was a manager third shift grocery for Wegman's. I used this milk crate to stock shelves. I'm a Mopar fan so I called this crate Hemi. Kinda goofy to get attached to something like that, but when I left Wegman's I took it with me. Now I get to take it fishing with me.

Naming your crate is no worse than people naming their cars. Not a dodge fan but I do like the older hemi motor.

I like the color, it's bright. I was in walmart tonight and saw a pink rectangle storage box like the milk crate. Wish it was square.
I tried the plastic paint on 24 oz pepsi bottles, didn't hold up well, wonder how it would hold up on milk crate plastic.

I've hauled mine on a ladder rack on my truck a few times. Getting a little wear where they ride on the metal even with as hard as I can pull on the cam straps. I missed the clearance of the small swimming noodles for $.50 each. The pipe is about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2". I checked at home depot and lowes, biggest they have in pipe wrap foam is 3/4". I need to check at a plumbing supply store.
