Thread: Alumacraft Angler

I have a 1990 16 ft Angler I bought used last year. Very happy with the boat so far especially after slowly making many upgrades to bring back to todays standards. Mine has a 1998 50 hp Johnson and runs 34mph tops so far with a stainless prop. Ride is very good compared to several alum bassboats I have owned over the last three decades. I had many years ago a 15ft Alumicraft( Super Hawk?) bassboat and hated it for the low sides and just too narrow. My Angler is not the most stable boat I have owned but I usually fish alone now so it isn't a big issue.

Post some pics of your Alumacraft Angler.....I don't recall ever seeing one.

I havent picked it up yet, I am still in OCONUS, but it wont be long.

It was a great deal, a 2009 NEW, with depth finder and trolling motor, plus a larger engine then anyone here in Ga was willing to put on the boat for similar price. It originally listed for 10,595.00, then was marked down to 8500.00 then down to 8000.00, I made an offer and they accepted. I live in Atlanta and the boat is in NC, so when I get back stateside, I gotta go get it.

And, no unfortunately they have no more available.
