Do it! No gas, oil, registration, maintenance, etc. Sure you can't rip up and down the river like you can in a boat but for me personally that eliminates a lot of water and a feeling of being overwhelmed on a lake like guntersville. Nothing like slipping up on some fish undetected and dropping a bait in them.

Fisherman, that's a good looking redfish I like it. Good to see a fellow redfish guy on here!

I really like those stabilizers you installed. I want to build some for my redfish 12 sometime. Do they stabilize it pretty good? I'd like some for standing when I'm sight fishing spawning bass. Looks like you used the flagpole brackets to lower and raise them. I know because I've looked at the same ones on Amazon! Lol

It will amaze you at how well the stabilizers work. It doesn't take much to build them and the bottles and PVC work very good and they are lite. I have built another set using docking fenders for the floats and 1/2 conduct pipe and it they work I will replace the conduct with aluminum pipe. I'll post a pic of them when I take a pic of em.

Heres my Wilderness Systems Commander 120. I have it rigged with a Humminbird fish finder, 4 adjustable rod holders on my accessorie board and I add 2 more on the side so I can rig 6 rods total when I'm feeling crazy. Holds over 400lbs, very stable which is good when I want to stand up and cast at bass or look for beds. I plan to add a rudder but just havent felt the need yet. It is rigged to accept a trolling motor and I have a minkota 45lbs thrust that I might put on in the hot summer this yr.
