I'm diggin' the Native Ulatimate 12. I've allways thought of them as a short canoe. But they do look cool with the spray skirts in place.
I try to paddle as much as I can, and sometimes that puts me on the water in cold weather. I need that brake from the wind.
The 14.5 is more than enough space and would work great with a trolling motor on it.

Sweet Deal Maybe Santa can hook you up.

I'm selling a few guns and a full set of tires and custom wheels to fund my new yak.

When the bug bites, you got to scratch............
Go look and sit in it and imagine all the goodies you can add plus the mods you can make and the fun you can have. Check the weight capacity
and figure it is 50 - 100 lbs shy of what the real limit is. I have the luxury of having enough kayak that I could put a trolling motor on mine, but.....
I would have issues on figuring out how to mount the trolling motor on the kayak. I put a mount on a Poke Boat and it worked, but I didn't have
enough keel to make good turns without sliding sideways a whole bunch. Good Luck.

    CRAP!

Just did some numbers crunchin', I was already on a budget......I could swing it, but it would make things tight(er)...plus what the he-double hockey sticks would I do with it? What would I do with my FB? ARGHHHH!

If I ordered this in IN, shipping would kill me, and there's nowhere there I could get that price, so this would be the perfect time to get one (though it'd be better if I had more $ in the Bank)

I guess I could let 2' of the Ultimate hang-out the back of the trailer box It might barely fit inside the trailer, overhead of my scooter.

Anyone wanna buy a cheap FB Angler 144?

NHL, you reap more benefit from a long kayak than you lose with the added weight/length. I went from FS10 to Mad River's Synergy 14'. Unbelievable in the difference in paddling ease, tracking, etc. If I don't use the FS by mid/late spring it's going on cg.
The best way to get to where you want to be in the future is to act like you are there TODAY.

Make sure you call ahead before you drive. I've seen some 12 footers (Native Watercraft) in the Southaven store, but don't believe I've seen any 14 footers in stock. Haven't been in there in a couple months though. In any event, I imagine they could order or transfer you one in so you still could avoid the shipping cost even if they didn't have one right now.

bet that really hurt didn't it (that "thinkin' part)

Oh what an adventure we're having now.

BTW, hope you can hitch a ride and pick it up while the gettin' is good.
    GO BIG ORANGE !

I meant to behave, but there were just way too many other options available at the time.
