I just take my "favorites" out of my regular panfish tackle bag and put them into a large plano stow-away, it's easy to overpack, and yep, I'm extremely guilty of it. Every time out I take less and less gear. If you haven't, I'd tether your gear. Congrats on the purchase......post some pics of your new rig.

i will post some pics, just been very busy lately. you can see one pic in the alabama board in the thread"whos going sat. and where?" by predetor 130. i really want to post some pics of my homemade rod holders, they work very well and i have about 3$ in them. i do want to get some more flush mount rod holders if anyone knows where to buy them.

neonmoon, id be happy if i never hung another catfish anytime im crappie fishing. this one kicked my butt. this was about 30 minutes into my first ever kayak fishing trip and it got me soaking wet, and caused me to lose a rod(it was a cheap one but still). as predator 130 mentioned in the other thread i did not look happy. my second trip i caught a drum at least 10lbs but played it much cooler. im getting used to it and enjoying being on the water. just cant seem to find enough time to get out. i have two boats in the back yard both in good functioning condition, one actually a very nice rig that i just bought off a friend last fall, but im all about yak fishing right now.
