I have an air bladder on my Revo that makes it very comfy for long periods of time. I like a higher back for extra support. On my older yaks, I had a GTS Elite Kayak Seat. Very nice. I have the fishing pack with it so I can put it on the wifes kayak and still fish.

If your seat is uncomfortable, your not going to want to use the yak, so for me comfort it very important.
If vegetable oil is made from vegetables, what's baby oil made from?

I think I'll end-up buying an air "donut" for the time being, and when I head south for the winter, it'll be a good reason to stop by Academy (we don't have them here). I spent 2 hours one morning last fall walking around one in Tennessee.... thought I was in heaven.

    I'll end-up buying a taller back seat since I'm tall, same reason I got a 96" paddle.

After market seat ... ? Looks almost the same as the one that came with mine, but more improved. One thing mine has is arm rests, and I like
mine better... lol. Bet mine cost only a fraction of what they sell that one for. I have looked at my original that came with the kayak, and I see now
that I could install arm rests if I wanted too. A little engineering would be in order, but I could do it. Right now I'm super happy with mine and I did
buy me a pad/seat that ties to the chair and it's an outdoor patio chair pad.....waterproof. Thanks for sharing the YouTube CavyJason.

It is my understanding that it is OEM, whether as standard or optional I'm not sure. Here is another video of it Ride 115 and 135 High Seat - YouTube

I have found that their are cdertain types of BUBBLE Wrap used in deliveries that work well. Depending on the type it can last 4 trips or more. I have people saving it for me. I had bought an upgrade seat for my yak but still needed some cushin fo long trips

This is so true... which is why I'm not using my Hobie Revo, pirogues, and cedar strip yaks too much anymore, in favor of my Native Ultimate 12. Man that mesh seat...holy smoke I can't imagine anything better than that. You can even nap in it easily while scooted down.

Everytime I go out I'm starting to default to that seat more an more, LOL.

What's wrong with the Revo seat? I put the Hobie air cushion on mine and love it. I'd hate to think that there's an unloved Revo just sitting around feeling sad and unwanted...

I've put my STS elite on my Revo with a little creativity and it worked, so that's an option. But if your really dissatisfied with it, I'll gladly give it a loving home for you. All you have to do is mail it. Lol
