Ok I know this isn't a kayak but I have some thoughts as to what I want to do with it. Here goes. I sold the motor, steering and trailer so I was left with the hull. What I am thinking of doing is to cut the hull at the bottom rub rail. Turning it into a large fiberglass jon boat. What are your thoughts on doing this and would you raise that cut mark up? I would sell it if someone wanted it just PM me I have the title.

Well that is one thing I had not thought about. Structure does have a place I admit.

Take the rub rail rubber out. Should have some rivets or screws behind it. Take them out and should be able to pop it apart. Think I would just take a Sawsall and cut out the dash section and leave the rest alone. Going to lose some structural strength with out the top cap.

Thanks Cray. I had figured that once I removed the upper portion I would run a rail around it to put strength back. What do you think?

BoarBuster, didn't mean to dis your boat or your plans, but unless you have all the tools and materials laying around you'll likely spend way more on it than it'd cost to buy a decent fishing boat.
You just gonna sit there an argue, or fish?
