lots of good threads out there about them. I have been thinking of buying one myself. Check bass resource (pelican owners) and texas fishing forum. They all say are a booger to row.

They would be hard to row. Too short, no keel and catch the wind. Besides you sit too high for effective rowing. You will enjoy it.

Bought mine at academy for 499 and the trolling motor at bass pro ( a prowler 50 lb) for 159 and a wal-mart battery $64.IMO you can't beat it.Used to have a 8 footer but this is so much better.Even put the hummin bird fishin buddie on it and it works great also.

took mine out yesterday with my new carpeted deck in it. Huge improvement over standing on those plastic ridges. much more comfortable and stable. Highly recommend.

I bought one the 1st of March, and have had a ball with it, With Gas prices so high it has enabled me to fish a Lake that's closer to home, Here's a picture of the way I rigged mine up. I put 4 rod holders on it, Mounted the DI and haven't had any trouble with the screws coming out of the Plastic.

Be sure to make a rudder for it, it will then stay straight.. A c clamp , drill hole and mount a rudder , mine is made out of a old truck liner but a semi truck mud flap will work good make sure is will ride over things. Deeper is better

I have a fiber lite 10 ft that is the same as the pelican. I spotted it in a guys back yard and he gave it to me to get it off his property! The only catch was someone tried to lift the boat with it full of water and separated the top and bottom. With some screws and silicone it's good as new! I went to gander mountain and got the rod saver rod holders and mounted them to the side. It holds about 6 rods nice and neat and out of the way. I will post some pics when it warms up.
