Thanks guys for the votes. I know it was hard, there were a lot of great pictures. I wear the Crapppie.com stickers with pride. The things you can learn from this site are endless. The people I have met are great. Thanks, again
The winner is MB4850 for this shot right here, great pic, great gear, great rig. Very cool, and the fact that he helped and was helped by another c.c member, helped in the decision as well.
There were so many good pictures, it was a hard decision. The Bimini top yak was a close second. Oldfox was prolly third, in our humble opinion. I thank you all for your participation.
MB4850 please PM me your address.

Congratulations MB.
Thank you for the opportunity to show off our rigs. Sometimes we put so much time and thought into them its nice to see others for some fresh ideas.
I hope everyone is having a great season so far.

If vegetable oil is made from vegetables, what's baby oil made from?
Well the contest is over but here's a pic of my rig taken from my friend's center console G3 last week on high Rock Lake in NC. Hurricane Phoenix 130 with Lowrance Sierra GPS w/ Navionics and Lowrance X-4 Pro. My favorite way to fish is trolling cranks- Rapala HJ-6/SR05 andStrike King Mini3's and sevral others. I have BPS 05 bass baitcaster reels on shakespeare excursion 6' medium rods. I'm spooled with 10 lb hi vis yellow (great for my old eyes while trolling) and use an 6/8 lb flouro leaders in front of my cranks- on High Rock last week, the surface was 88-93F so i added a 1/4-3/8 oz of lead in front of 6 ft leader(carolina crank rig) to get em down deep. I also like church's TX-6 planers in shallow water when the boat spooks em out from under you. Last week at HR I caught Crappie, white bass, LM Bass, striped bass, white perch and even a 3 lb channel cat on Strike Kings and rapalas. I drug em 12' down over ledges down near the dam and railroad trestle at the mouth of flat swamp, had a BLAST. I used to have a drift master 4 rod mini spider on my malibu kayak but I sold it ;o( I am looking for a way to spider on the front of this yak as I have been casting my own jigs- it will happen next Spring when I get back from Afghanistan. Thanks for the pics and hope you like mine.
I'll get her on the water and get some full blown pics, I've really had a good time setting her up the way she works for me. Half the fun for me is rigging. This is the 9th I've owned and though there is no perfect 'yak, this is as close as I've come for riggability/size/maneuvaerability/speed/stability/capacity. HUrricanes are made here in NC and they are lightweight trylon, UV resistand and tough. I have had her a mile offshore, caught blies, sharks, spanish and flounder- my goal next year is king amck- and the elusive redfish! I could go on & on, I really love kayak fishing. I'll get some pics up soon. Walk
