    Froggy,
I would like to see how you put you live well together. Did you add a pump for fresh water to cycle or a bettery operated bubbler?

In the lakes I fish I can use a stringer, but when I saltwater fish keepers go in the cooler.

How exactly do you get a live well in that thing?? Curious about kayak fishing. What do you mean by anchor?? Tying up to something or actually anchoring?? Thank you!!
Luck has nothing to do with it, it's how you wiggle your worm.

Usually a bait tank or live well is placed in the tankwell behind the seat. You can purchase a pre-made commercially designed one like Hobie sells, or you can make your own. I have seen many creative homemade designs from coolers to 5 gallon buckets. Most have an air bubbler or a water pump to keep the fish alive.

I sometimes will use an anchor in windy situations if I need it. It is a 3 pound folding anchor. Mostly I will use a drift chute to slow my drift on windy days. Both can be attached to the anchor trolley mounted on either side of my yak.

Kayak fishing is a nice inexpensive way to get on the water, but be-careful - its addictive!

Its a big one, it has a 30 inch opening down to a 6 inch opening. Works good, but it is probably too big for a yak. When I bought it it was the only size in the store.

my live well is 3.5 gallons mae out of polyethene plastics it's rotomolded it is caplable of circulation (outside water in ) and it is insulated i currently use a air pump and air stone it sit's inside a hatch on my yak sorry i need to get some pics up and the anchor is still waiting on the patent so sorry can't post that one yet either

i found that more than 3 gallons and it get's a little heavy for a kayak and controling water temp is easier when you use the water in the tank whenyou ciculate the temp changes top much and your bait dis let me go try and get some pics of my tank
