Got on the water at about 7:30, fished the first three hours without a bite. Finally found some in about 12' of water about 6' down in thick brush. Had the best luck on 1/16 chart. jighead with a minnow. I did have a few tic tic, but I haven't learned to wait on the tug. Most of the fish were just sucking it in and not moving. Also caught a few on pumpkin and chart. beavertails. Quit fishing at around 2:30, ended up with ten keepers. Three were over 13" and one was right at 14", pretty solid fish for HD. All were females except one and all still had eggs. Two looked like they were ready to drop, but I think they are going to reabsorb them if they haven't dropped them yet. Looks like we need to make the summer camp at toronto. Go to the missouri board and read baller's report. Those are some pigs!
