    Question Need some advise-Olathe Lake

Thinking about doing some crappie fishing at Olathe Lake. Never have been on the lake, just wondering if anyone could pass some pointers to me. I like to try a different lakes every so often.

hey ron, kcslabs told me he caught some real nice fish there...maybe he can give you some more information. I do know if you go to the city of olathe website they have a page on the lake including a map with locations of the brushpiles...i keep thinking about going there, but never have.

Great Plains Game & Fish had an article about KS crappie fishing last month. The author said it would be one of the hottest lakes this year due to a healthy year-class of fish hitting "eater" size.

I can't remember if there was any specific into for the lake in the article or not. I don't have any personal experience there.

Was going today to Lake Olathe, but the wind was stronger than I like to fish. Maybe tomorrow, might have a report at the B&B.
